Learn MBSR

One session of the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program will be offered in the Fall 2024. Classes will be held 6:00-8:30 on Monday nights starting 9/9/24.
The MBSR classes focus on building the skill of mindfulness to help participants better navigate the various challenges we face in life, take better care of their health and discover a greater sense of peace and wellbeing.

This 8 week program includes learning a variety of mindfulness practices:

Pink lilly

  • Guided mindfulness meditation-sitting and walking
  • Body scan
  • Gentle yoga
  • Qi gong

As well as:

  • Large and small group discussion
  • Daily mindfulness practice at home using guided CDs

The All-Day Retreat will be Saturday October 19th, 2024 9:30-4:00 at Methodist Hospital Auditorium.

The total cost for this in-person 8-week program is $325. This price includes all of the classes, class manual, and practice CDs.

Approved for 31.4 Contact Hours for nurses.
